About Us

We're Frolic Room, and we've been a cocktail bar in Los Angeles, CA since 1941. We offer cocktails, mixed drinks, draft beer, and more. We're looking forward to partnering with Los Angeles and the surrounding area consumers to continue providing exceptional service. We'd like to personally invite you to stop in on your next night out.

The Frolic Room has been a cocktail bar in Hollywood since 1941. They have cocktails, mixed drinks, draft beer, and bottled beer. They also have a juke box. It is a famous dive bar and a visit is a must if in Hollywood. it is just fun. They have really nice bouncers outside, one at a time is all they need. They change people a lot or I just go on days when the regular guys have a day off. There is really no need anyway, I have never seen a problem there. They are not going to overserve you, getting just plastered there is not what you are going to do. If you do drink there, know the drinks are strong, so think about that before you get in a car. You can get and Uber or whatever with ease. Going with friends is super fun. The bartenders are great and make fantastic drinks. They know how to make anything. They are also nice to the designated driver--I am often the one. It is clean and safe. It is located right next to the Hollywood Pantages theater. It is small but it has the coolest neon sign that you will be able to see. Parking can be a bear on the street, mind the many signs. There is parking just about a half block away in what is called Eastwood Parking, or something like that. Hollywood burger is right across the street if you want a fast bite. I love this place. I wish I had a chance to go more.

Frolic is an awesome spot. Very much a friendly neighborhood dive bar feeling in the middle of Hollywood. Great staff and bartenders, great drinks and brews. Definitely recommend popping in here for a drink or 2 next time you're in Hollywood

Nice, small dive bar right in the heart of Hollywood. Apparently it's been there for quite some time and has a rich history. I was told it is a Gay Bar, but all types of people stop through this watering hole. Although, even in its location it doesn't seem to attract many tourists at all, so that's probably a good thing for us residents. Drinks were alright and pretty cheap. A good place to start a night out before hitting migrating to more upscale places.

Classic bar that you gotta visit if you haven't already. The atmosphere is dark, cozy, and inviting, the drinks are strong, and the bartender is a class act.
